DESCRIPTION:Please note that our upcoming Annual General Meeting will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday\, December 9\, 2023.    \n  \nThis will be at the South Oshawa Community Centre.  Meeting Room #1. 1455 Cedar Street\, Oshawa\, ON.   Coffee and donuts will be served. \n  \nAll members from both Expercom and Direct Bore are invited to attend. \n  \nThe primary agenda items will be to elect a Vice-President and to discuss the coming year. \n  \nBy our constitution\, executive positions have a three year term.  Our current Vice-President is welcome to stand for re-election if they wish. \n  \nIf you wish to run for this position\, please contact the OEA office to get a nomination form.  A completed nomination form will need to be submitted electronically by noon on Friday\, December 1\, 2023.  This is to allow for the printing of ballots and meeting agenda.  Each candidate will be given an opportunity to speak at the meeting in advance of the actual vote.

DESCRIPTION:Our 2022 Annual General Meeting will be held at 10:00 am\, Saturday\, December 3.   This will be our first in-person AGM since 2019. \n  \nThis is a particularly important meeting.  Among other items\, elections will be held for the positions of President and Secretary-Treasurer\, we’ll be updating our constitution to reflect our continued growth and we’ll also be setting up committees for our upcoming negotiations with Expercom in the spring. \n  \nWe’ve booked the “Helen Paris Room” in the  George Ashe Library & Community Centre.  470 Kingston Rd\, Pickering\, ON. \n  \nThe community centre is located on the north side of the 401\, just west of the White’s Road exit.    We picked this location for its relatively central location to all our yards from Direct Bore in the east to Hamilton in the west. \n  \nCoffee will be served as well as pizza for lunch at the end of the meeting. \n  \nPlease plan on attending this important annual meeting.
